About Devi Kund

Devi Kund is situated at a distance of 8 km from Bikaner city. It is a collection of Cenotaphs, a paradigm of Rajputana architecture blended with Islamic architecture. The chattris made of white marble and red sandstone are decorated with intricate carvings.

Devi Kund was erected to give honour to the deceased members of the royal family of Bikaner. The Cenotaph of Maharaja Suraj Singh is considered to be the most beautiful. The Rajput style paintings on the ceiling look beautiful. The cenotaphs are more than just tourist attractions, they are also the architectural gems with festooned frescoes.
