Dumas Beach

Dumas Beach is an urban beach, a popular tourist destination in south Gujarat. It is roughly located alongside the Arabian Sea and on the Konkan coast. The Dumas Beach located 21 kilometer away from the south west direction of the city of Surat. The Dumas Beach is only suitable for having a walk as the black sand here, give major notorious incidents, which became a topic of discussion as the haunting area for the disappearance of the people.

Despite of its unethical issues, the Dumas Beach inhabit the Dariya Ganesh Temple; a small adjacent temple to the main beach. The Dumas Beach mainly attracts the tourists for its cool and pleasant atmosphere away from the hum-drum lifestyle of the urban society. Apart from its suitable atmosphere, the multi cuisine around the beach increases the flavoring of its tourism. Countless snacks like bhajya, pav-bhaji, corn items, Pani Puri, Indian and Chinese items attract its mouth watered array for the visitors.

If one wants to enjoy the ambience of the urban beach or the gleaming sandy beach; Dumas beach, the perfect time is preferably in the months of monsoon or from October to March.
