The Statue of Unity is a monument dedicated to Indian freedom development leader Vallabhbhai Patel situated on the river island called Sadhu Bet confronting the Narmada Dam near Rajpipla in Indian territory of Gujarat. It is the world's tallest statue with the tallness of 182 meters 597 ft. It was structured by Indian stone carver Ram V. Sutar and was introduced by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on 31 October 2018 on the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel. The monument statue represents to Indian autonomy development leader. The statue is planned as a portrayal of Vallabhbhai Patel, wearing trademark articles of clothing, in a walking position.
In the initial stage, the bridge connecting the memorial to the territory, a memorial garden, visitor centre buildings, a hotel, a tradition center, an entertainment theme park and institutes are being developed. There are two fast traveler lifts in the statue's center which take you up to the chest of the statue to a viewing exhibition, which can oblige 200 sightseers at the same moment.
