About jim corbett

Jim Corbett is situated in Nainital, Uttarakhand and is home to almost 650 ieties of endangered species of animals and birds. It was launched in the year of 1936 and is a famous Tiger reserve. The Jim Corbett covers a total of 520 sq. kilometers of area spanned over Nainital, Almora and Pauri Garhwal. the landmass comprises of riverine belts, hills, large lakes, marshy land, and grasslands. The famous Royal Bengal tiger has its home here.

If you are someone who would love to be around some gorgeous looking and some wild animals along with the feel of forest this place can be good for a vacation with friends or family. The winter time is the best time for spotting some nice wild animals. The sanctuary is divided into different zones and each has a different time to go.

The Jhirna zone is the only one zone which remains open 12 months of the year. The Bijrani zone is best from mid-October to mid of June. The Dhikala zone welcomes all visitors during November to mid-June. During winters the roads mostly get washed away. The jeep safari in Corbett can be one of your most memorable experiences.

the resort and food was quite good. however, half of the time meant for jeep safari was wasted in reaching jhirna zone.

excellent tour with super accommodation at atulya resorts and misty heights with great hospitlity and delicious food. driver was very careful in ghat roads, overall experience is memorable.
