Govind Ghat

Nestled in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand is the tiny yet majestic hamlet, Govindghat. This beautiful place is a must visit on a tour to Uttarakhand. Since it is located on the way to Badrinath and on the meeting point of Alaknanda and Lakshman Ganga rivers, it has a high religious value. 

One can start the Hemkund Sahib trek from here. The beautiful Valley of flowers is located here and is among the must visit spots. The entire place is a scenery,  a small hamlet on the banks of the beautiful River Alaknanda surrounded by alpine hills and located at a height of 1800 meters above sea level. Nature lovers, pilgrims and trekkers visit Govindghat every year.
