It has four roofs above the sanctum sanctorum and lengthy galleries for worship. The Dudhpukur water tank is located north of the temple and is supposed to be holy. People take a dip into the tank to get salvation.
This temple is also having shrines devoted to Goddess Kali and Lord Vishnu. Devotees visit this temple during Shravan, Chaitra Sankranti, Maha Shivratri, Gajan, and Neel Puja.
