Nestled at the height of 1800 meters from the sea level and spread across 600 acres of land, Chaubatiya Gardens are a sight for soaring eyes. The gardens are truly fertile and produced some richest of the peaches, apples, apricots, and many local fruits. The orchands here are on the full bloom in summers and make a perfect sight when laden with flowers. For nature lovers the place is a must visit as it captures you in its unspoken spell. The gardens also offer a panoramic view of some renowned mountain ranges like Nanda Devi, Trishul, Neelkanth and Nandaghunti. Bhalu Dam
Around 3 kilometers from the Chaubatiya Orchard is a splendid artificial lake covered with a preserved forest area. The lake was initially made to serve the water supply issues of the town by the British rulers in 1903. However, it is a famous tourist place nowadays.
