About Bhimtal
Bhimtal is a town in the state of Uttarkhand. The place is filled with temples lying amid the verdet mountains and blue lake which surrounds he place with a mystic atmosphere. The ancient town attracts large number of tourists every year. The name got its names from the historical figure Bhima from Mahabharata and as it is surrounded by the beautiful lake “tal” by such picturesque scenario. Thereby the name Bhimtal originated.
