The walk starts from Dashashwamedh Ghat popular for the goddess Shitala Devi temple who cures illnesses, afterwards comes a deserter section where the washmen can be seen washing their cloths. The next Ghat is the Harishchandra Ghat where most of the people seen performing the rituals rites for the deceased.
