About Sandakhpu

Sandakhpu is trekking destination which is close to Bagdogra. The trek is defined to be moderate and the way to the destination will take you through some dense forest and breathtaking views. You can go for a short trek and it is easily accessible.
Sandakhpu is located at an altitude of 3636m is the highest peak of a mountain in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is situated in the stretches of the Sikkim border in the Singalila National Park, which is considered to be the best place from where you can view the Kanchenjunga peak.
Sandakhpu is considered to be a strategic place as it shares borders between Sikkim and Nepal. The trail that you will see has alpine trees, rhododendron forest and the spectacular view of the Himalayas.
