About Karst Springs

The limestone farmland around Antalya is rich in karst springs, sinkholes, and waterfalls.

The lime stores from these springs have developed over a time of 1.5 to two million years into tremendous travertine patios like the well known porches at Pamukkale.

Kirkgöz and Pnarbas just toward the northwest of Antalya have springs and sinkholes to see, while at Düdenbas, a course of waterfalls tumbles down a tight canyon.

There are both upper falls Düdenbas Selalesi and lower falls Düden Çay to appreciate, and an excursion here influences a pleasant nature to part from Antalya's excess of memorable attractions.
