Intercity Istanbul Park is an motor sports race track in Tuzla, east of Istanbul, Turkey. It was initiated on 21 August 2005. It has been classified "the best race track on the planet" by Formula One Chief Executive Bernie Ecclestone. The previous setting of the Turkish Grand Prix is situated in intersection of limits of Pendik and Tuzla areas on the Asian side of Istanbul, near the intersection of Kurtkoy on the north side of the Motorway 4, connecting Istanbul to Ankara. It is neighboring the recently developed Sabiha Gokcen International Airport and is encompassed by backwoods and fields.
The Istanbul Park hustling circuit was one of just five circuits running anticlockwise in the 2011 Formula One season, the others being Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, the Marina Bay Street Circuit , the Korea International Circuit and the Yas Marina Circuit.The circuit is 5.338 km long, with a normal width of 15 m going from 14 to 21.5 m, and covers more than 2.215 million square metres. With a sum of 14 corners, the most honed with a sweep of simply 15 m,the circuit keeps running more than four diverse ground levels with a begin/complete straight more than 650 m 309.356 km more than 58 laps.
