About Prachin Musuem

The cultural center of Bikaner, the Prachina Musuem is situated in a quiet corner of the Junagarh Fort. This musuem was established back in 2000 by Siddhi Kumari, the daughter of late Maharaja Narendra Singhji. It showcases all the royal costumes, textile, portraits of former rulers, contemporary art, religious accessories, etc.

There is a display of European wine glasses, cut glass decorative objects, cutlery and crockery used in regal kitchen. Perfumes are a part of the Royal household. They are displayed to enchant you as you explore all the sections of the musuem. The exquisite hand crafted rugs and carpets give a peek into the artistic richness of the country.
