About Visit Laxmi Narayan temple

Laxmi Narayan temple was built by Vir Singh Deo around 1622 and was reconstructed around 1793 by Prithvi Singh due to lack of maintenance and deteriorating condition of the temple. The temple is known to be one of the three most important temples in Orchha, where you get to see the unique amalgamation of fort and temple architecture and the fascinating thing about the temple is that despite its dedication to Goddess Laxmi there is no idol is kept inside.
