About Teerthdham Mangalaayatan
Teerthdham Mangalaayatan is a Digambar Jain pilgrimage site in the city of Aligarh, India. This shrine is said to be one of the largest Jain religious centres in India.
The temple complex includes five temples in total. It spans over an area of 16 acres. The five temples are named as: Bhagwan Adinath Mandir, Bhagwan Mahavir Mandir, Bhagwan Bahubali Mandir, Jinvani Mandir and Shri Bhagwan Adinath Swami Manstambh. Bhagwan Adinath is the main deity. This temple is located on top of a man-made hill known as Kailash Parvat. An impressive statue of the Bhagwan Adinath made out of pure white marble rises out of the hill. The 55 feet tall statue is a fascinating sight for visitors.
