About Company Garden

The company garden in Alwar city is a tourist spot located on the Company garden road in the center of the city. It is also known as the Purjan Vihar or Company Bagh. It was built during the reign of Maharaja Shiv Dan Singh, in the year 1868 AD.

The lush greenery of the garden attracts a large number of visitors everyday. The garden has a magnificent setting and formation, known as the Shimla House built by Maharaja Mangal Singh. The house provides cool shade from the summer heat. It is also called as summer house among locals.
