Roanoke Park
About Roanoke Park
Roanoke Park is an astonishing park at Missouri with lush slopes and limestone outcroppings. It keeps running from Thirty-Fifth Street on the north, Summit Street/Southwest Traffic way on the east, Valentine Road on the South and Wyoming Street on the west and contains 37 acres. Property for the recreation center was gained from 1901 through 1923. The initial two tracts were given by the South Highland Land and Improvement Company and others were given by neighborhood people.
Lodging in the Roanoke territory started to be produced in the late 1800s, with most being worked in the mid 1900s. Conspicuous and well off Kansas Citians possessed a large number of the houses. The properties given for a recreation center were rough and hard to make into private properties so they were given for a recreation center to secure property estimations and bothersome development.
