On the plateau of Mandu is located the Jami Masjid, the mosque that depicts the prosperous history of the city and of Islam in the ancient days. The Masjid is said to be built by the Ghauri dynasty. It is an architectural beauty, made with intricate marble work. It is huge in size and one can explore and unveil the mysterious past in there.
Apart from being a historical monument, it is a tranquil place where millions of worshippers gathered to worship. The gigantic area has the capacity to accommodate a large amount of worshippers. The small chambers in the mosque were used for many reasons. The domes represent Afghani architecture.
