About Soochippara Waterfalls
The Soochippara Waterfalls is located at a distance of 22 km from Kalpetta. Also known as Sentinel Rock Falls, it is a three-tiered waterfall, surrounded by the deciduous, evergreen and montane forests of Kerala.
Water falls from a height of 200 meters to form a picturesque sight. There is a cliff face which is ideal for rock climbing. The tea estates of Wayanad surround the area. Visitors can enjoy various water activities such as bathing, swimming and river rafting. The falls offer a view of the striking Western Ghats and the surrounding wildlife makes it a popular tourist spot.
