5 crazy and grandiose designs proposed for rebuilding Notre Dame's roof

One of the most ecological design proposed and we appreciate the idea. Proposed by the Studio NAB, this design is about building a greenhouse on the roof to replace the destroyed spire. The structure would keep the lines of the former roof and timber that was burnt in the fire will be used to built all the facilities inside the greenhouse. The apiary that could be saved during the fire would keep the honey bees and would be used for the training of beekeeping.

Notre Dame’s most famous resident suggested a design that would be a futuristic building of 8,000 square feet, glass roofed house, fitted with indoor and outdoor pool and a beautiful rooftop garden. A helipad would also be constructed as proposed for the design for Notre Dame’s roof.

Stockholm design studio proposed a new design for the Notre Dame’s roof to be an open air swimming pool at the top of the cathedral. The public view would have the panoramic view of the Paris with the statues of 12 apostles who survived through the fire.
 

An effort to rebuilt Notre Dame into an energy building which produces more energy than it uses. The new design for the Notre Dame’s roof would be a three dimensional crystal glass which would absorb light and convert it into energy.
