About Smrithi Bhavan

Smrithi Bhavan in Manipal is a museum dedicated to the Late Dr. T.M.A. Pai. He was the architect of Manipal. It was his former residence. The Museum traces Dr. Pai’s life and his contributions to the development of Manipal. It contains his belongings and gives visitors an idea of Dr. Pai’s vision and the simple lifestyle he led. He transformed a small coastal town into an important educational hub. The museum is a must-visit for all the history buffs and everyone who would like to know a little more about the town’s history and the man behind it.
