The full supply level of Almatti dam was initially limited to 519 meters MSL by the incomparable court of India. The Krishna River strife between Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra was settled by the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal and the dam was approved to be raised to the tallness of 524 meters MSL with about 200 TMC net stockpiling limit. The Almatti Dam is in a Bijapur, a residential area Northern Karnataka, and is worked over the Krishna stream.
The development was done in 2005, so it is a generally new dam. It is the principle store of the Upper Krishna Irrigation Project and it utilizes Kaplan Turbines. Water is discharged into the Narayanpur store once it utilizes it for control age and serves the water system prerequisites. The stature was expanded by 10 meters in this dam after the Supreme Court requested to do as such. That is a great place for visiting.
