About Nagavasakuki Temple

Nagavasakuki Temple is situated at the northern fringe of Daraganj Mohalla on the banks of the Ganges in Allahabad. This temple is worshiped by means of Devasavik Dev. Nagasavaski has been called Balrajraj, Sarpanatha, Anant and Pooja Chowk. Lord Shankar and Vighahanarana Ganesh hold them like garlands in their throats. In Padma Purana, they had been known as the reason of the arena's origin, repute and destruction. It has been stated inside the Puranas that when the Ganga fell from heaven, Vedanta went far from the people to the hole.
In the Hathas, their torso fell at the funeral of Nagaswakis, in this vicinity Bhogavati shrine was created. Nagaswasukhi and the relaxation of the gods, after on foot with the people, they saw the eye of Vyayamadhav, then the Bhogavati pilgrimage got here here. It is considered as the habitation of Bhogavati pilgrimage with Nagavasukhi. Bhogavati pilgrimage is in the western part of the Ganges closer to the east from Nagavasavik temple. When there's a flood in the Ganges in the course of the rainy season, its water reaches the steps of the Nagvasuk temple.
The devotees then take a bath in Bhogavati shrine. Raghuji Bhosale, the ruler of Nagpur, attacked in Allahabad in 1700, 409. He beat the ruler of Allahabad, the ruling ruler Shuja Khan, inside the combat and killed him. Maratha soldiers made the metropolis bad by means of robbing the city of Allahabad. Raja Raj Pandit Shridhar revived the dilapidated Nagvasukhi temple.
