Mount Pauna is the third highest peak in Nagaland. It is great for trekking and hiking. There are amazing trekking trails which lead up to the peak. It offers a majestic view of the hills of Nagaland. The valley looks ethereal during the blooming season, under a blanket of orchids and rhododendrons. It is a treat to the eyes. There are many waterfalls, springs and oddly shaped rocks within the confines of the mountain. The Himalayan flora and fauna are waiting to be explored.
