The tomb of Kalandar Shah dates back to the Mughal era. It was built by Emperor Ghis-ud-din Tughlaq in the memory of the Sufi Saint Bo-Ali-Qualander Shah. The memorial has been sculpted entirely in white marble. The Sufi saint had many devotees who believed that he had miraculous powers. There are several anecdotes about the miracles the saint performed in his lifetime. The tomb complex also houses a mosque and is surrounded by lush gardens and beautiful fountains.
