Chhachhrauli Fort is historical monument in the city of Karnal, dating back to almost 250 years. It was constructed by the Kalsia Kings. It was built along the lines of Indo-British architecture. The fort houses a majestic clock tower built out of stone. The walls are adorned with paintings and murals. It once housed the State Departments of treasury and official meetings were held here. The fort is mostly in ruins today, but nonetheless beautiful as a symbol of a bygone era.
