About Jansath
Jansath is a town and a nagar panchayat in Muzaffarnagar region in the Indian province of Uttar Pradesh. Jansath is situated in Uttar Pradesh the north-western piece of India, around 118 km from the National Capital of Delhi. This is a recorded town since the season of Mahabharat. An old sanctuary, where the Kauravas and Pandvas played shakers and lost their kingdom, is on the southern edges of Jansath and is known as "Mahadev ka Mandir". The zone has one of the biggest groupings of Sayyids in India. The persuasive Sayyid siblings, Sayyid Hassan Ali Khan and Sayyid Hussain Ali Khan, controlled the Mughal sovereigns from 1713 to 1720.
After their homicide in 1720 through a trick by Mughal Emperor Farrukhsiyar, Jansath was assaulted by the Mughals in 1939 and Sayyid Saifuddin Ali khan, the more youthful sibling of Hassan and Hussain Ali Khan was murdered in the fight. His tomb is in Jansath at the western passage of the town. The Jansath tehsil has a few old landmarks of the Mughal times including the place of Sayyid siblings which is classified "Rang Mahal". The passage is classified "Bada Darwaza". Rang Mahal is under the consideration of the relatives of Sayyid Saifuddin Ali Khan. Jansath has a few other old landmarks like Sheesh Mahal, Moti Mahal, Badi and Choti Haveli in Jannatabad.
