About Rouen Cathedral

Rouen Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in Rouen, Normandy, France. The house of God is in the Gothic compositional tradition. A congregation was at that point present at the area in the late 4th century, and in the long run a basilica was built up in Rouen as in Poitiers. It was broadened by St. Ouen in 650, and visited by Charlemagne in 769. The most acclaimed works of art of the house of God were finished by the impressionist craftsman Claude Monet, who created a progression of art works of the structure appearing same scene at changed occasions of the day and in various climate conditions.

The church contained the dark marble tomb of John Plantagenet or John of Lancaster, Duke of Bedford, one of the English officers who regulated Joan of Arc's preliminary.
