About Machines of the Isle of Nantes

The Machines of the Isle of Nantes is an imaginative, touristic and social venture situated in Nantes, France. In the old secured structures of the previous shipyards in Nantes that were at one time utilized for ship development, and later utilized as business sites, the Machines of the Isle are made by two specialists, Francois Delaroziere and Pierre Orefice. The Great Elephant 2007 is a mechanical elephant, 12 meters 39 ft and 8 meters 26 ft meters wide, produced using 45 tons of wood and steel. It can take up to 49 travelers for a 45-minute walk. It is an estimated reproduction of The Sultan's Elephant from Royal de Luxe, which visited the world from 2005 to 2007; the fundamental distinction being that this elephant is intended to convey onlookers.

It will include 35 moving submerged animals on three dimensions: the sea depths, the profundities, and ocean and water crafts.
