Head for Paro Taktsang, popular throughout the world as Tiger/’s Nest, after breakfast. Built on the face of a cliff in the late 17th century, this monastery is said to have been the place where Guru Padmasambhava meditated for three years. The hike to the monastery takes around four to five hours. Lunch will be served at the restaurant located halfway up the mountain. Enjoy enchanting views of the Paro Valley before making your way down. Drive to Thimphu next.

Go out on a city tour of Thimphu after breakfast and see some of the city/’s most popular landmarks such as the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Bhutan/’s traditional painting school, folk heritage museum, and a paper making factory.

Leave for Paro Airport after breakfast.
