Australia

Half of this island continent is covered by arid and desert and the rest half is under stunning cities and beaches. It is the flattest and the driest inhabited continent. From the infrastructure point of view, Australia is among the best destination for tourism. No matter how remote the destination is, there are ample places for accommodation and eating joints.

Covering an area of 7,686,850 sq. km, Australia is the sixth largest country and the smallest continent and is the most diverse of all in the world.

Australia is divided into different regions namely Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia. These are then further divided into cities and Towns.
Australia has a pretty developed economy which allows it to pump in ample finances into tourism which it religiously does.

Not only has nature been very generous on Australia, the people of Australia have also helped in making the country an exceptional tourist destination by maintaining what nature has bestowed upon them and creating a lot more of their own. The best attraction for sure is the outback of Australia. The remote and arid land, stretching for hundreds of miles, are the best option for an adventure tourism. The Great barrier reef by the coast of Australia extends more than 2000 km and is coral paradise full of colorful reefs and marine life.

Canberra, situated in the the Australian Capital Territory is the capital of Australia. It is the largest inland city and 8th largest city overall in Australia. Though it is not as famous as Sydney, it is equally developed and tourist friendly. The main attraction of the city are kept preserved in the many museum and and galleries. The most famous of all is the Australian War Museum which is considered as a National Shrine. Sydney is the most well known city of Australia and the most populated city as well. The stunning harbors, cleanest beaches and the breathtaking Sydney opera House keeps tourists attracted to this beautiful city. Other important cities of Australia are Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Hobart.
