About The Granites
The Granites Beach148F is the site of the main shakes on the whole shoreline, a couple 2 m high adjusted stone handles that lie in the intertidal swash zone Fig. 4.26 and 4.27. Waves normal more than 1 m along this 5 km segment of shoreline, and keep up a surf zone up to 200 m wide containing three low bars. There is a vehicle get to track and auto stop behind the stones, however no different offices.
Swimming conditions range from relatively safe along the Lacapede Bay beaches, to moderately safe up to the Granites, and then increasingly hazardous as the higher energy beaches north of the Granites are encountered.
