About National Gallery of Victoria

The most established open Art Gallery exhibition in Australia, the National Gallery of Victoria holds more than 70,000 centerpieces in two city areas.

The global gathering is housed in the St. Kilda Road building, initially opened in 1968 and widely remodeled in 2003. The building is prestigious for The Great Hall, where guests are urged to lie on the floor and look at the beautiful recolored discriminatory constraint.

The broad Australian gathering is held in the Ian Potter Gallery in Federation Square, including the historical backdrop of Australian craftsmanship from Aboriginal works through to the Heidelberg School, and contemporary blended media. One of the features is the substantial triptych design, The Pioneer by Frederick McCubbin.
