The Parque del Oeste is a recreation cente orchestrated between the Autovía A-6 and the area of Moncloa. The recreation center is the activity of Alberto Aguilera, the chairman of the city toward the start of the twentieth century, who is asked for the format of a place for strolling and unwinding. It has one of a kind and delightful destinations, for example, "The Rose", which is held each year a universal delicate roses.
One of the landmarks in the recreation center is the Temple of Debod, an Ancient Egyptian sanctuary. The Egyptian state gave the sanctuary of Debod to Spain in 1968 as an indication of appreciation for the assistance gave by Spain in sparing the Abu Simbel sanctuaries.
