About Montserrat

It is a multi-bested brutal range organized close to the city of Barcelona, in Catalonia.

It is a touch of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range. It is noticeable as the site of the Benedictine religious group, Santa Maria de Montserrat, which has the Virgin of Montserrat asylum and which is seen by some with the zone of the Holy Grail in Arthurian myth.

"Montserrat" truly infers "Saw Mountain" in Catalan. It depicts its remarkable perspective with the immense number of shake designs which are obvious from a magnificent segment.

The mountain is made out of a strikingly pink aggregate, a kind of sedimentary shake. Montserrat is Spain's first National Park.

A standout amongst the most basic summits of Montserrat is called Sant Jeroni Saint Jerome and stands at 1,236 meters 4,055 feet above ocean level.

It is open by climbing trails which relate from the best access to the Sant Joan funicular, the gathering, or the base of the mountain.
