About Magic Fountain of Montjuic

Magic Fountain of Montjuïc is famous among locals and visitors, it is a wellspring which is situated at the head of Avinguda Maria Cristina in the Montjuïc neighborhood of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

The wellspring is arranged underneath the Palau Nacional on the Montjuïc Mountain and close to the Plaça d'Espanya and Poble Espanyol de Barcelona.

The wellspring, as a large portion of the encompassing advancements, was built for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition.

The Magic Fountain was outlined via Carles Buïgas, who had planned lit up wellsprings as ahead of schedule as 1922.

The site where the wellspring was built was the past area of The Four Columns.

In 1928 the segments, illustrative of the Catalanism development, were obliterated under the requests of Prime Minister Miguel Primo de Rivera and were re-chosen in 2010 a couple of meters from the first area.
