About CaixaForum Madrid

CaixaForum Madrid is an exhibition hall and social focus in Paseo del Prado 36, Madrid. It is supported by La Caixa. It was built by the Swiss draftsmen Herzog and de Meuron from 2001 to 2007, which joined an old deserted electrical station with new development of floors encased with oxidized cast-press, which was intended to be of a comparative shading and weight as the block underneath.
