About Tirukazhukundram
Tirukazhukundram is a panchayat town in Kancheepuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is popular for the Vedagiriswarar sanctuary, a Hindu sanctuary committed to Lord Shiva. Tirukazhukundram's name is gotten from kazhughu, which means hawk. At one time, two hawks took off over the Shiva sanctuary over the adjacent slope each day at noon, and the minister at the sanctuary gave them nourishment as a custom. As per legend, these hawks were not conventional falcons, but rather two rishis whom a revile had changed into winged animals.
The legend likewise said that the falcons would quit going to the sanctuary amid the Kali Yuga. The falcons have not been located as of late, which is viewed as a sign that the Kali Yuga has started. Tirukalukundram had a populace of 23,677. Guys comprise half of the populace and females half. Tirukalukundram has a normal proficiency rate of 72%, higher than the national normal of 59.5%: male education is 80%, and female education is 65%. In Tirukalukundram, 11% of the populace is under 6 years old.
