About The Badal Mahal

The Badal Mahal is situated in the premises of the Taragarh Fort. The dividers of this grand castle are secured with wonderful canvases. These artistic creations are intriguing since they portray an impact of Chinese culture. Badal Mahal is outstanding as royal residence of mists which is situated on side of Gaibsagar Constructed inside the Kumbhalgarh Fort; Badal Mahal is celebrated around the world for its novel plan. Royal residence was worked in two diverse time period. In starting stage Maharawal Gopinath developed Verandah and ground floor. In second stage, by 1609-1657AD Marahawal Punjraj developed verandah before ground floor, first floor and arch, independently from making a few redesigns in the development done in the underlying stage. Badal Mahal is built by Dawra stone. There are one half ready lotus each on all the three arches and three half ready lotus on longest vault of Badal Mahal, which gives a staying delight of this castle. The Mahal offers an exceptional elevated perspective of the in and outside the fortification.
