Ratnagiri Temple

The Ratnagiri Temple is devoted to Lord Balamurugan, whose god can be seen here in two structures. One of the structures is of Lord Thirukkolam with his spouses Valli and Deivanai. The other frame is of Lord Gurukkolam. This sanctuary likewise involves diverse places of worship of Lord Ganesh, Lord Sani and the Navagraha.

Adi kiruthigai kavadi June-July and Thai kiruthigai kavadi January are the primary celebrations celebrated in this sanctuary. Thai Poosam January, Karthigai deepam November-December and the Latcha deepam are other vital celebrations. Amid the Tamil month of Karthigai November-December, a unique love is done at this sanctuary. In the love, symbols of Lord Muruga and his spouses are beautified with gold and silver and are mounted on a brilliant chariot.
