About Peermedu
Peermedu is a slope station in Idukki region of Kerala. Otherwise called Peermade, It is rich land at a height of 915 m in the Western Ghats amongst Kuttikkanam and Thekkady. Peermedu is gradually turning into a prevalent choice among Kerala Hill Stations. The town takes its name from Peer Mohammed, a Sufi Saint who is accepted to have been the main merchant of flavors in the district and close partner of the regal group of Travancore.
