About Naulakha Mandir
One of the major attractions in deoghar, the Naulakha Mandir is about 2 kms from the main town. It is a resemblance of the Ramakrishna Belur Nath temple of Kolkata in architecture. The temple houses beautiful idols of Radha and Krishna towering at a height of 146 feet.
The temple has a history behind it. It was funded by Queen Charushila of Pathuria Ghat King's family from Kolkata. Pilgrims visit the temple to seek salvation in the home of Radha and Krishna, to eye the beautiful architecture. Photographers can have good photo sessions at the place.
