Mayankheta is a small village situated in the city of Gulbarga, Karnataka. It lies on the banks of the Kagina River.
The village was under the rule of the Rashtrakutas during the 9th and 10th century. There are two ancient institutions located here. The Uttaradi Matha was the Dwaita school of philosophy of Madhvacharya. The Jain Bhattaraka Math is an ancient Jain temple. The village also houses an ancient fort which is under restoration.
