About Ava Art Gallery

Ava Art Gallery is located on Hill Cart Road, in transit towards Darjeeling town focus. This is the main workmanship display of its sort in Darjeeling. This workmanship exhibition gets its name from late Ava Devi, a craftsman who was notable in the area for her sketches and splendid manifestations of weaving. It was together settled in 1965 by late Ava Devi and Bhopal Rao Sett.

This is a stand-out craftsmanship display which incorporates a gathering of water, oil and string works of art by Ava Devi. Two of the artworks named 'Still Strong' and 'Torment'' which portray Ava Devi's extraordinary ability and aptitudes are an absolute necessity see. You'll discover numerous other customary works of art and silk applique too. The hand weaving works have been finished with such artfulness that these nearly look like depictions. This place is an unquestionable requirement visit for lovers of art. The gallery is open from 8 A.M -12 Noon; and again from 1- 5pm.
