About Chateau de Chenonceau

The Chateau de Chenonceau is a French estate spreading over the River Cher, close to the little town of Chenonceaux in the Indre-et-Loire departement of the Loire Valley in France. It is a standout amongst the best-known chateaux of the Loire valley. The domain of Chenonceau is first referenced recorded as a hard copy in the 11th century. An engineering blend generally Gothic and early Renaissance, Chateau de Chenonceau and its patio nurseries are available to people in general.

Other than the Royal Palace of Versailles, it is the most visited house in France. In the 13th century, the fief of Chenonceau had a place with the Marques family. The first estate was burnt in 1412 to rebuff proprietor Jean Marques for a demonstration of rebellion. He reconstructed a house and strengthened factory on the site during the 1430s. Jean Marques' obligated beneficiary Pierre Marques thought that it was important to sell.
