Ecstatic 8 Days 7 Nights Phuentsholing, Paro, Thimpu with Punaka Trip Package

On arrival at N.J.P RAILWAY. Station / IXB Bagdogra airport you will be received by our representative, who will be waiting outside and proceed for Phuentsholing (980 ft. /142 km/3 hours), through the lush green as well as most beautiful Tea garden in Dooars. On arrival at Phuentsholing, The most rapidly growing town in Bhutan check in at your hotel. O/N at Phuentsholing.

After breakfast proceeds for immigration process. After completion that you will drive to Thimphu which is (approx.178km/6 hours) drive. On a short drive visit Kharbandi Gompa to get a breathtaking view of Phuentsholing also the Indian plains. We will have lunch at Dantak and again start our journey on the way we will reach the highest point of about 2800m/9,185ft. Thimphu is a fitting and lively place. Home to civil servants, expatriates and the monk body. Thimphu maintains a strong national character in its architectural style. On arrival check in hotel & O/N at Thimphu.

After breakfast you will start your day with the visit to: National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point: One of the biggest Buddha in the world. It was constructed through donations from devotees all around the world, Buddha Garden. After having your lunch we will visit: Tashichodzong: The beautiful medieval fortress/monastery which houses most of the government’s office and King’s Throne room. Evening free for visit local market for shopping. O/N at Thimphu.

After breakfast drive to Punakha (approx.77km/03hrs) with a stop at Dochula Pass (approx. 3080m). Here we can view and admire the Chorten, Mani wall, and prayer flags which decorates the highest point on the road. On arrival at Punakha visit to Punakha dzong. It is situated near two rivers-the Pho Chu (Male River) and Mo Chu (Female River).Punakha Dzong is one of the largest Dzongs in Bhutan. Take the suspension bridge to arrive at the Dzong. Punakha Dzong was initially called Druk Pungthang or Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness), for many years until the second king of Bhutan assumed power. Punakha Dzong happened to be the seat of the Government for a long time. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Punakha.

Today drive to Paro. After refreshment visit Paro Dzong, a fine example of Bhutanese historic architecture. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Paro.

After an early breakfast you will proceed for an excursion to the famous place called Taktshang Monastery or Tiger Nest (5hrs to 6 hrs hike {up and down}). The people who will not able to visit Tiger Nest we have some other places to be visit: National Museum, housed in the Ta Dzong (watchtower). Here an intriguing collection of artifacts provide a wonderful introduction to the rich culture and heritage of the Kingdom. Kyichu Lhakhang: It was built sometimes in mid 7th century by the Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo. It is believed to be one of the 108 temples built to subdue a demoness residing in the Himalayas. It is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. The evening ends with a walk through the Paro's main shopping market. The local shops sell a variety of goods-groceries, textiles as well as prayer flags. After breakfast you will drive to Phuentsholing (approx.115km). O/N at Phuentsholing.

After Breakfast drive to N.J.P RAILWAY Station / IXB Bagdogra airport for your return journey. Like all good things, your Bhutan tours will come to an end. We will be happy to see you back.
