Newburn

Newburn is a semi country area, discretionary ward and previous urban region in western Newcastle Upon Tyne, North East England. Arranged on the North bank of the River Tyne, it is developed rising the valley from the stream. It is arranged around 5 miles from the downtown area, 14 miles east of Hexham and 13 miles south west of Morpeth. In the 2001 registration, the populace was given as 9,301, increasing to 9,536 at the 2011 Census.
