Middleton Park

Middleton is a largely residential suburb of Leeds and famous among the locals and visitor, it is located in West Yorkshire, England. It is situated on a hill south of Leeds city centre in north-west of London. The population of the Middleton Park ward of Leeds City Council was 27,487 in 2001, which then reduces to 26,228 at the 2011 Census.

It was developed as a manorial estate and its owners began to exploit the coal seams that outcropped within its boundaries. Middleton Park, the green jewel of South Leeds is a mixture of traditional parkland and ancient forest. This 190 hectare green space contains something for everyone with attractions including a cafe, bowling greens, a playground, fishing lake.
