About Glasgow Necropolis

It is a Victorian burial ground in Glasgow, Scotland. It is on a low however extremely conspicuous slope toward the east of Glasgow Cathedral. Fifty thousand people have been covered here.typically for the period just a little rate is named on landmarks and few out of every odd grave has a stone.

It wound up noticeably known as the "Extension of Sighs" since it was a piece of the course of memorial service parades the name is a suggestion to the Bridge of Sighs in Venice. The fancy doors by both David and James Hamilton were raised in 1838, confining access to the extension.
