It is a Roman Catholic Church and cloister, situated off the Falls Street in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The complex was produced by the Catholic Redemptorists religious request. Individuals from this religious request came to Belfast initially in 1896.
They at first manufactured a little tin church in the grounds of Clonard House in 1897.
In 1890 a religious community was opened in these grounds and in 1911 the Congregation of the Heavenly Savior opened in the grounds and supplanted the tin church.
Clonard is likewise utilized as a music scene for some celebrations in the city, most quite Féile a Phobail and holds a yearly Novena which pulls in more than 100,000 vacationers, Catholic and Protestant, from Ireland and Europe consistently.
The Northern Ireland peacemaker Father Alec Reid lived here.
